How to watch home video with someone 1000 miles away at the same time
I want to watch a video I made with someone 1000 miles away. I don’t think Shareplay works with Quicktime player. Is there another wy to do that?

Add the video to the Library of the Photos app, with the iCloud Photos feature active. Then the video is in the cloud, and accessible anywhere. You can set a specific ‘album’ to share with a specific person (contact), so that they can access a small selection of your content independently from you. As video files tend to be quite large, an iCloud+ plan is advised.
If you just want to send your own video (or other documents) to someone else, then consider a temporary hosting service like WeTransfer. The recipient would then get an email notification on where to download it.
