I had a project in an inappropriate Library so I copied it to a new Library.
However, I find that a number of clips have the compound clip icon and are repeated (duplicated) further down without the icon.
These compound clips do not exist in the original Library.
If I double-click them they open just as a normal single clip.
Any ideas as to why they have appeared?
iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 13.6
I deleted them and everything appears to be normal.

Great! I have no idea how these mysterious compounds came to be, I am glad it was just a harmless glitch.
Odd thing is, regular clips don't open in their own timeline by double-clicking them.
Seems like you had compounds with only one clip inside, which isn't difficult to make.
The weird thing is that those "compound" clips do not appear in the original project (in the wrong Library) which I still have as I have not deleted them yet.
You Mac may be haunted or something, maybe?
