bluetooth low energy on Mac book pro m3

I am trying to connect my oticon engage hearing aids to my Mac book pro m3 but am unable to do so I have been told that my Mac supports mfi hearing aid but I can't connect them

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.5

are you running Sonoma and an M2 or M3 Mac?


Use hearing devices with your Mac - Apple Support (ME)


Use Made for iPhone hearing devices - Apple Support


you might not be able to use certain (badly-crafted) pointers and keyboards at the same time, and in some cases, pairing your hearing aids with your Mac may un-pair them from you phone.


if you can't get this to work the way you want, you may need a TV streamer device (such as Resound TV Streamer 2) to re-broadcast the sounds output from your Mac and pair with your hearing Aids.
