How to recover Emails that have disappeared?

I have tried to retrieve and it says there’s nothing there but all my emails should be in the cloud

You might delete the account on the iPhone and then enter it again. If it is a IMAP accountit should repopulated just like before. Would like to know if this works for you.

Try an iCloud backup recovery, you can also recover your deleted files on iCloud.com.

In iCloud Drive on iCloud.com, click Recently Deleted in the sidebar.
If you don’t see the sidebar, click .
Click Recover All, or select each file you want to recover, then click Recover
