Parental Controls ALLOW App Store but it’s still not available. Also family link identity hiccup

I’ve set up my 14yo son an iPhone & using Family Link to my iPhone. Somehow the App Store has disappeared in the process. I already “Allow” installing apps under iTunes & App Purchases, so that’s not it. And inside Allowed Apps & Features there’s no App Store to allow. When I go to Apple.com & click “open the app” I get a pop up that says “Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid”

and the second issue - my face is showing up as his Apple ID.
