Finding my Microsoft downloaded copy of Home & Student 2021 wouldn't work and after hours of searching,
I appear to have found that this software will only work on a Mac with Intel chips. They have not released an M3 version yet.
Is this correct? I don't understand why Microsoft can not be more forthcoming when selling this product. Mind you if they can make more money selling 365, why should they worry about detail.

well they do sell an office 365 for mac you can get in app store on the mac, even though it requires a subscription
other than that then you can read their statement
I doubt windows will ever return to being bootcamp compatible myself
