Ipod 6th Generation won't remove swipe up and down screen?

My mother has a IPod 6th generation nano. We recently downloaded apple music a switch from Pandora music service, after they raised there family rates recently. On here iPod whenever the now playing screen comes up instantly a notification telling her she can swipe up to change songs pops up. Which in itself is fine. BUT, you are not able to close this screen. You can not swipe it away or click on it. It permanently on there until you close the program. This seems to be a bug with the version. Has anyone else found a fix for this?
