Notes app not opening gallery view

The notes app on my mac suddenly does not allow me to view the notes in a gallery view. Its only allowing me to view the notes in a "list" view but when I switch to gallery it only shows the panel as can be seen in the screenshot below

Notes app opens in separate window after MacBook update I recently updated my Macbook, and the Notes app has changed. I used to be able to view a note directly in the Notes app itself, but now it opens a separate window via double-click, which is highly annoying. Unable to see Note Preview Pane after macOS 15.2 update Hi, After updating my Mac to macOS 15.2 (Sequoia), Notes Version 4.11 (2993.1), I can no longer see the preview of my notes in the Notes app on the right-hand side when selecting a note or folder. This feature was working fine before the update, but now the preview pane is missing. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Restarted my Mac. Restarted the app. Checked for macOS updates (I’m on macOS 15.2 now). Unfortunately, none of these steps fixed the problem. Now, to view a note, I have to double-click it to open it in a new window, which wasn’t necessary before the update. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Notes app after updating to macOS 15.2? Any suggestions on how to restore the preview pane would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! This same thing has happened to me, except on a MacBook Pro (also running macOS Sonoma 14.5). Has anyone else experienced this?
