iTunes is still freezing.
Even with the current version 12.12.2.3. this problem has not been solved.

iTunes has frozen more than 5 times this morning - the only solution is to end the task with the task manager.
The problem has existed for almost a year and Apple does nothing.

Confirm freezing for me as well - randomly, or when doing things like changing a rating. Has also been happening for around a year now since 12.9... as noted in previous posts.
The updates never tell you what Apple have changed, so no way of knowing if they think they have fixed it....
I just came here to see if Apple has a fix, but it appears they don't even care. Good to know.
This has been happening for a while for me. I find it chooses to freeze randomly when I'm trying to listen to a specific album or song. Lately, it's been mostly items I have added to my library (I have the sub) and are newer releases. Gotta force close.
It's getting real irritating because, obviously, I want to listen! Only happens on my PC, no issues on iPhone.
I have had 3 freezing moments in v12.13.2.3 in the last 24 hours.
Is this only a Windows issue, or do users of Mac OS have the same dilemma ?
