Purchasing app in the Apple store

I have just setup my 13-inch MacBook Air with Apple M1 chip. Haven setup an Apple ID, I went to the store to get some apps an I was told that This Apple ID has not been used with the App Store. Please review your account information

Please how do i solve this problem? I have been on it for two days now.
