Disable Live Activity Notifications on Apple Watch

I use the Live Activity on my iPhone - basically for following sports scores - but I want to stop the notifications from going to my Apple Watch and I don't want to turn off Live Activities all together. (They are cool on the iPhone - annoying on the Watch IMHO.)

Unfortunately there is no Apple TV app for the Watch and the only option is to turn off the notifications on my iPhone and then mirror that setting on the Watch.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

None of those links mentions Live notifications. Numbers 2 and 3 link to the same YouTube video.

There has been an unfortunate infestation of people using AI to generate responses. Sometimes they are okay and sometimes....they are not.

This has been plaguing me for months. Hopefully they fix this in iOS18, I can't find any way to disable those notifications. I just want to be able to glance at my phone to see the score, not get buzzed every time someone steals a base or scores. It really is infuriating.
