I can share my Apple desktop screen (internet, MS Word, etc.) with my Samsung Smart TV. However, when I try to share DVDs using the Apple DVD Player, I only get audio and a grey screen - no picture. The DVDs and DVD Player work fine on the desktop, but not when I try to share the screen. Any thoughts?

are you using air play? I have seen issues of audio but no video when using airplay for viewing DVDs as well as sometimes streaming YouTube, etc. I would recommend trying a wired connection to the TV and see if that works.

After doing more reading and testing, I think this is. dRM issue. Next stop is to find DVD player that will support Samsung tv.
