Mainstage on new MacBook Pro has a delay when assigning faders and other control surfaces

Just purchased a new in the box 2021 MacBook Pro, Max. Did a fresh download of mainstage. When I go into layout and assign my faders and other control surfaces, it does not assign right away like my other MacBook Pro. As I slide the fader up and down the signal is showing in the midi box but the online fader takes about 10 second before it physically moves. It does the same thing for most assignments. It seems to be working fine but I just thought that was quirky. Are there any bugs about that? I restored the computer back to factory and did another fresh reload in the same thing as happening. Thanks in advance for any info.
