I updated to ios 17.4.1 on my 14 pro, my phone started overheating and the battery drained really fast. Now the phone died and i've been charging it for over an hour and it doesn't even turn on. Before the update everything worked perfectly fine.
The links I've found suggest that the reason for battery drain may not be solely due to iOS updates, but rather, it could be influenced by how an iPhone is utilized.
