If you encounter an "invalid serial number" message on the Canadian iPhone Power Management Class Action claim form despite Apple confirming its validity, consider the following:

  1. Accuracy in Typing: Serial numbers are case-sensitive and prone to typos. Ensure there are no extra spaces or errors in the entered number.
  2. Proper Format: Some websites might display serial numbers without hyphens, while the claim form may require them. Verify the format instructions and ensure your serial number matches (typically 12 digits with hyphens).
  3. Clear Cache and Cookies: Outdated browser data can disrupt form submissions. Clear cache and cookies before revisiting the claim form.
  4. Contact the Administrator: If issues persist, reach out to the claim administrator via the official website. Prepare your iPhone model (e.g., iPhone 7), the exact error message, and the confirmed serial number from Apple's site. You can find their contact information on the official claim website: https://www.smartphoneperformancesettlement.ca/

By providing this information, the administrator can assist in resolving the problem and guide you through the claim submission process.

Well it seems I am definitely not eligible, it says in FAQ Quote:  iOS version 11.2 or later (for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus) before December 21, 2017, and (ii) they experienced diminished performance on that device after the relevant iOS version was installed or downloaded. I did not buy my iPhone 7 until 2019.

I never did get a reply from the administrators
