How to best use my older program of Photoshop CS2, if possible? Do I need to pick up a used power pc ( w G3,G4or G5 processor? Is this practical?

I now have a laptop MacBook Air running Catalina version 10.15.mid 2013…

I would probably have to pick up a used power pc -running a G3,4,or 5 processor. Is this at all practical?

It may not work, as Adobe have turned off the activation servers for some of their obsolete apps, and so you may not be able to launch it. It's also a lot of extra work hoops to jump to, just to use old software. If you don't want to pay the subscription for the current version of Photoshop then investigate alternatives, like the Affinity editor, for instance. Probably less expensive than buying an entire obsolete Mac for the task...
