Delays with syncing photos to iCloud

A few days ago, my phone started bugging, so I thought it would be a good idea to sync all my photos and other data to iCloud to back up my phone in case something goes wrong. I'm currently on 200 GB of storage from a family plan. However, I've been syncing for at this point 4 days, and only about 20% of my photos/videos have synced. Is this a normal wait time, or should I try to increase the sync speed?

You mentioned that you are using iCloud while on Family Sharing feature. Can you ensure that there is enough storage space left on iCloud for you to complete your backup?

Not sure how many GB worth of photos and videos you have to backup so difficult to judge about how long it should take. For normal and average usage, 4 days is excessive. These backups are completed to iCloud over a Wi-Fi network when the iPhone is plugged in and charging. I recommend that you connect your iPhone to a Wi-Fi Netowrk while charging overnight. Check the results in the morning.
