When doing a Time Machine backup to a caldigit t4 raid 5 on iMac Pro Mac OS 14.3.1 the system crashes after backing up a few mb. The following problem report shows when starting up, anyone able to help me?

Time Machine backups need to go on an empty external drive that is not being manage by other software.

Your best bet is to just get and use a standard external drive for Time Machine backups.
Thank you kindly, it is not what I was hoping to hear but if this is the only option then it is what it is.
