17.4 update and how it stalled half way thru the process. How to stop it from completing before it's too late

I should have read about the iPhone 17.4 update and all the negative factors of it before starting the download. About 1/2 way thru, the update stalled and stayed that way for 25 mins. It was at that point I knew this was garbage and needed to stop it.

I took the risk of shutting down the phone since I know Apple does not support rollbacks into the previous iOS. I did a restart and thankfully the phone is back to normal with iOS 17.3 on my iPhone 13Pro.

I strongly urge everyone to be very, very careful with the updates unless you want to be forced into upgrading to a newer phone. Remember, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
