Can't access widgets on new iPad that seem to be connected to canceled email addressI

I just bought a new iPad and transferred the data from my old iPad into it. Several of the widgets can't be accessed due to them somehow being "attached" to my old canceled email address. I looked at the email addresses in system preferences and found that address attached to Game Control. I can't seem to delete that from the internet accounts. How do I solve these problems?
