I updated my Mac since I haven't used in a good while . and I just realized I have an album saved on my files and I want to add it to my music but it will not let me because I don't have what is required . but I don't get what it is I need

The iTunes app for Mac computers was discontinued and replaced when macOS Catalina was released. It cannot be installed on Macs that are running Catalina or later.
Functionality that used to be in the iTunes App on Macs is now in the Music app, Finder, and other apps.
