PowerPoint or Keynote?

PowerPoint is a presentation app used on Computers that run Windows.

You may want to check with the person who told you to do a PowerPoint presentation, whether a Keynote Presentation is ok with them.

Eg: We do not know the situation. Is running the Presentation from your own computer acceptable, or does the presentation need to run in Windows in order to be shown to the whole class ?

and

Can the person who told you to do a PowerPoint Presentation, also view a Keynote presentation when it is time to assess your work ?

A safeguard if needed: You can create a presentation in Keynote, save that, and also export the presentation as a PowerPoint file. The Keynote presentation runs on your Mac, and the exported (Keynote to) PowerPoint file will run on computers with Windows installed.

"To save a copy of a Keynote presentation in another format, you export it in the new format. This is useful when you need to send the presentation to people who are using different software. Any changes made to the exported presentation don’t affect the original. Keynote also remembers the last export settings you used.
