when doing a VO internal to iM, I find the default duck level of other audio too much.
Is there a way to change the default duck level or only after the fact adjust the VO and/or the other audio?
Or do the VO external of iM?

I am unaware of any way to set a default duck level. You would need to do the ducking after the fact. You can select multiple clips and then use the sound control slider to equalize the volume of the whole batch at one time. Or you can adjust the volume of clips manually on an individual basis.

If you do Edit/Select All, then all the clips in the project will be selected and you can use the sound slider to level the volume on all of them at once. Even adjusting the clips separately is pretty easy. However, I agree it would be nice if this could all be handled by a default setting.
