How to change sender name in Outlook for Mac

How can I change - in Outlook 365 for Mac - the name of the sender seen by the recipient

Have done it successfully in Legacy Outlook 365. However, when I switch to the 'New" Outlook, it still shows the previous name and doesn't look that I can change it.. Many thanks.

Go to Profiles > Manage Profile Settings, then click the link under your name/contact info.

Change the display name email recipients see - Microsoft Support

In the menu bar, click Outlook > Settings, click on Accounts and, for your account, see if the field "Full Name" is correct.

Note: This is for the version of Outlook in Microsoft Office 2021 for Mac. It may be the same for Outlook 365.

My apologies, I should have been more clear. Those options should be under 'Outlook > Settings', not 'File'. See 6x6's answer.

6x6: Entered the new full name but: [1] message sent and received carries the new full name [2] howver, nothing shows in the sent folder? Uncomfortable. Also somethimng strange as well: The paword shown in 'Settings' > 'Accounts' is 8 digits (muts be an old one) whilst t=the new password I set for Microsoft account is (computer generated) 15 digitys. Normally Outlook PW and MS Account PW should be same password, no?

Sorry, I won’t be able to help you there (password length and “new” Outlook) as I don’t have the same version of Outlook as you do.
