Share location does not work on my iPhone

I bought my iPhone in South Korea and recently moved back to the United States. I see that I can’t share my location and it’s completely disabled. Is there a way to reactivate this since I’m back in the United States?

I need a physical SIM card so have to import my phones from overseas and went with South Korea for an iPhone pro max. I live in the United States and have been using this phone here for several days and

I am having the same issue.

Family can’t see me, I can’t see them, I can’t send my location.

I had a long support call the other day and the technician couldn’t find a way around it. We ended up resetting all kinds of settings, privacy, networking, cellular, you name it.

Nothing. The best they could come up with was “get a phone from somewhere else”

it even taunts me when I open up the “find my” app by showing the “people” tab for a fraction of a second before it disappears.

There has to be a fix for this, I just have no idea how.
