"Play audio using" option not available on iTunes post update

in the old itunes app on windows there was an option under playback "play audio using" is this availible in the new apple music app else can this return, i would like to use direct sound so i can switch my output device without having to restart the app

If I try to change my default audio device, which I do frequently throughout the day between speakers or headphones, Apple Music will not switch over to the new audio device. Switching audio output on apple music for windows When ever I change the output device on windows from wired headphones to wired speakers apple music doesn't update the output device. This also applies to bluetooth devices as well. Is there anyway to fix it or change it manually? Apple Music version: 1.4.4.41 Windows 11 Home version: 23H2

Feature Request: Select Audio-Device Currently testing the Music Preview App from the Windows Store on Windows 11. Modern Windows setups often do have multiple audio devices (in my case 4+) that can be used for output. The app definitively needs an option to quickly switch the audio device while playing. Currently, there is not even an option to select a device at all. The app simply uses the default device set in Windows. Switching the default device while the app is running does not take effect until next launch. Several other players, e.g. Plex or even Amazon Music allow the user to switch the device easily in the playback controls and do remember the selected device across program relaunches.

I'm having the same issue, restarting the app is so far the only solution.
