long bootup after Safari update???

So I just updated to the 2/12/24 release of Safari. (Monterey 2021 Silicon iMac) and it wants to reboot. Um, OK. It takes FIFTEEN MINUTES to reboot, What the ****??

iMac 24″, macOS 14.3
