How to resolve Boot Camp Installation Issue on OS X El Capitan

I'm trying to use bootcamp to install windows. on osx El Capitan. I get the error. the start up disk cannot be partitioned or restored. I have run multiple new installs new first aids etc. nothing seems to work. I am a super newbie.

Windows bootcamp not working Hello, I have a question about Boot Camp. So I wanted to install windows, but Boot Camp Assistant gave an error: "Your disk could not be partitioned An error occurred while partitioning the disk. Please run First Aid from within Disk Utility to check and fix the error". First aid said there weren't any problems. I am using macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. I have had Windows installed earlier, and removed it, but now I want it back.

Boot Camp installation failed I'm trying to download windows 10 on my 2017 MacBook Air. I got this message "an error occurred while copying the Windows installation files." And now the Boot Camp Assistant is removing the partitions it created -- What did I do wrong?
