Keynote quality issues with MS Teams

I have asked about this before but we are fighting a battle to retain Keynote as the app of choice of our creative community in our office. IT lobbies for us all to shift to Powerpoint and to use Powerpoint Live when presenting via Microsoft Teams. There is some history of Keynote not working well with Teams but it's getting worse - often, the audio from a Keynote movie fails to play via Teams, and the resulting movie can stutter badly. If we export to powerpoint and use Powerpoint Live, everything works seamlessly (except fonts of course). This seems to be a well known issue with Teams (see Microsoft's support site) but they are doing nothing to fix it for Keynote issues - clearly, they would rather we all shifted to PPT!

Since the pandemic, Teams meetings have become the norm and are a key daily aspect of business life, so we Keynote users can no longer keep our heads down and sneer from the sidelines at the awfulness of much Microsoft software. We have to find a fix for this urgently or Keynote will be completely marginalised - Apple needs to take its head out of the sand and apply pressure to Microsoft to fix this or Keynote users will be driven inexorably to powerpoint.

In the meantime, has anyone found a solution that works reliably?
