Calendar invitations not getting to Yahoo mail users

Hi,

There is an issue between Apple Calendar and Yahoo Mail. My Gmail address receives invitations issued from the macOS calendar app whereas my Yahoo address doesn't. I checked all folders. Other mails sent from the Mail app arrive normally, so it's not as if the Yahoo server was down. How can an email just not show up like that? It seems like it wasn't sent in the first place. This has been asked 3 years ago with no answer (Calendar invitations to yahoo users - Apple Community).

Hasn't anyone from Apple looked into this?
