Problem with mac mail on macbook pro

Hello,

I recently brought an m3 MacBook Pro and after the recent 14.3 OS upgrade I've noticed issues when writing an email. I have noticed that sometimes lines seem to get overwritten on the screen. I think the correct text is there, but it looks like the re-paint of the window isn't working properly? It looks as if this happens when I'm typing text and the download of new mail is running. (although it's not a persistent behaviour, but seems to occur randomly). Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.3

The current stable release of Sonoma including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 14.5 — I would start there

Keep your Mac up to date - Apple Support

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS

Hello,

Sorry I didn't follow-up on my issue. I had apple support and contacted them. I sent them a screen recording of the issue and after that a newer release of the OS seemed to fix the issue. I don't see problems with email anymore. I'm using 14.5. I think the only thing I can suggest for you is to create a screen recording (ideally of some non-sensitive email where the problem occurs and send it to apple.

Sorry I can't be more help - I know how frustrating this can be.
