Google Maps "cannot access your location"

When I open Google maps in Google Chrome on my MacBook Pro, Ventura 13.5.2, it says "Unable to access location." I have gone to security settings in system preferences, location services, Google Maps does not show up there, and all location permissions I have access to are turned on.

I cannot find any location settings in Google Chrome other than those associated with giving sites permission.

When I open Safari it asks to use my location, I click "Allow" and it works fine.

Yes, I have been encountering the same problem on my iMac with Chrome and Google Maps on 14.2.1 (23C71). It is absolutely impossible to have the location turned on to use maps. I've done everything the instructions provided. I have no issues on my iPhone or iPad. Also, other browsers on iMac work fine with Google Maps. I hope someone knows the solution.
