Has the apparent storage corruption from earlier been resolved with a backup, factory reset, and reload?

The previous postings of yours, where you were encountering that the “grid” icon:

If that iPhone has gotten corrupted and hasn’t gotten reset, it’ll probably have all sorts of weird issues.
