I had the same issue, what worked was a search for past Apple statements (which will include charges). I don't know if this is the same for you, but mine was connected to an iPad recurring AppleCare+ charge that somehow was not connected to my account, hence why it won't show up under your subscriptions, so be sure to connect it. Hope that solves it!
Also note that the $4.32 likely includes sales tax ($3.99 + 8.25% tax is $4.32)
