Macbook Pro showing chinese characters next to name of sound input/output and camera

Hi, I recently got a new macbook pro and I noticed that I have some

chinese characters for the name of my macbook inputs and outputs (see images below)

Using google translate I can see that they translate to "Speakers" or "Microphone". The same happens to the camera option.

The only language selected during setup was English.

Anyway to fix this?

Thanks

I just got a new 14" MacBook Pro and it was doing the same thing. I also noticed that all the software update release notes were in Chinese. I switched the language to English (Australian), rebooted, then switched it back to US English and rebooted and that fixed it. Seems like somehow these are getting shipped with some kind of Chinese language setting enabled even though something else is selected when you first setup the system.
