Then the subscription was made on their website and will need to be cancelled there. Many apps are now directing users to their own website to sign up for subscriptions to avoid any payment processing fees by Apple and also prevents you from cancelling the subscription through Apple. Netflix is one app that will only maintain a subscription through their website and will not allow you to cancel through Apple. Their were several apps named Simple in the App Store so unable to confirm which one you have, but did see the Simple for weight loss app does have subscriptions on their website, so try logging in there or use the support links to find the process to cancel.
