FaceID not popping up while downloading apps on App Store

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, and after upgrading it to iOS 17.2.1, I've been experiencing an issue with Face ID not prompting up when trying to download an application. Instead, I have to enter my Apple ID's password every time, which is super annoying. I've tried all the methods listed in previous community posts (i.e., toggling the Face ID options on and off, etc.). Are there any foolproof methods that have worked for people facing this issue in the past? Kindly let me know about the same. Thanks!

Make sure you have the configurations of 'face-id & passcode' for 'iTunes & App Store' enabled then

- Logout from app store

- Login as brand new account, if it prompts to login in with your 'app

store remembered account' or any auto-login, cancel it, and login as a

new account with your same account (to put your email and password

manually), and it should fix it

I just got this work!!! Here is what i done step by step:

I created new appleID
Logout my main apple ID on appstore
Log-in new appleID
Download couple softwares using password then appstrore start asking faceID
Logout new appleID
Log-in your main ID
Download couple softwares using password
BOOM Appstore starts asking my Face-ID!!!
