Iphone and Watch not getting notifications

I have a 2nd generation Iphone SE and a 2nd generation Apple Watch SE, the first day I was using it, it worked great, all my notifications came through fine, but on my second night of using it, the only difference in what I did was trying out the Sleep Focus instead of setting a bedtime manually, then in the morning I turned it off.

Then the rest of the day I didn't feel any notifications coming through on the Watch, Focus and DnD both turned off, all my applications have notifications turned on, latest IOS version for both phone and watch, all apps up to date. Scheduled Summary is off, I have also tried turning it on and setting all notifications for all apps to Immediate, but that still didn't change anything.

I am kind of out of ideas now, I would be really interested to know if I am missing anything else, as I really need this to work, having to check all apps manually to check for incoming messages is very annoying.

Thanks a lot in advance.

It's frustrating when notifications suddenly stop coming through. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot this issue:

1. **Restart both devices:** Begin by restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch. This simple step often resolves minor connectivity glitches.

2. **Check Bluetooth and Wi-Fi:** Ensure that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Sometimes, connectivity issues can disrupt notifications.

3. **Check Notification Settings:** On your iPhone, go to Settings > Notifications. Review the notification settings for each app to ensure they are enabled. Also, check the "Do Not Disturb" settings to make sure it's not preventing notifications.

4. **Reset Settings on iPhone:** Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This won't erase data but will reset settings like Wi-Fi passwords and network settings. It might resolve any configuration issues causing notification problems.

5. **Check Notification Delivery:** On your Apple Watch, check if notifications are being delivered properly. Open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to My Watch > Notifications, and make sure notifications are enabled for the apps you want to receive them from.

6. **Update Software:** Ensure both your iPhone and Apple Watch are running on the latest software versions. Sometimes, software updates resolve compatibility issues causing notification problems.

7. **Unpair and Pair Again:** If the issue persists, unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone and then pair them again. This can sometimes fix underlying connectivity issues.

If after these steps the problem persists, contacting Apple Support might provide further insights or assistance in resolving the issue. Sometimes, an issue might require more in-depth troubleshooting specific to your devices.

That sounds like the best course of action.
