Phone totally frozen, After I updated my iPhone 15 pro max, ios 17.2.1 ,the screen is totally frozen, I can't make and receive calls, I can't even open my phone anymore because the screen is not working at all

I cant tell you how grateful I am for this. My 15 Max has been freezing so hard lately but this like instant fixed it. Thank you kind internet person !

I am assuming that you attempted to Force Restart your iPhone 15 Pro Max and did not get to the part where the Apple Logo appears. If you Force Restarted exactly as described and the screen is still frozen, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.

I'm experiencing similar (though apparently not as severe) problems, after iOS 17.2.1 update on my iPhone XS Max:

Frequent freeze/crash in Apple Calendar app -- especially if I select an appointment for details/edit

Inability to search Contacts

Set-up ("connecting...") for outbound calls takes > 30 seconds

Thanks for instructions to perform iPhone "hard re-start." Makes no difference.

Other actions that have made no difference:

• Reset network settings
• Substantial reduction of Contacts duplicates and overall Contacts entries
• Settings->Contacts->Siri&Search: Turn off "Show App in Search" and "Show Contact Suggestions"

Send it in or take it to the Apple Store. They will be able to tell you exactly what the problem is and even fix it. You will not be able to get any help by calling. If you have AppleCare+, not only will they fix it, but you also have the Express Replacement option where they will send you a device to use while yours is being fixed. Not a bad deal!

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

same problem i m facing.iphone is now black screen.no charged.call to service center they told me its hardware problem or any other problems which will diagnosed after check it.so send it to service center.Look apple is working like lo grade cheap android phone.Why not he replace iPhone.All 15 promax phone should be call off from buyers and should be redund or new phone.Mail to apple and also post on X but no reply to me.Any solution or idea how can i replace my 3 mnth old iPhone.
