I think you may wait a long time for another user familiar with this to see your question, especially in this forum section that is supposed to be for asking about how to use the forum software, but has turned into a hodge-podge that many helpers avoid.

I don't have experience with setting up a location, but do have a possible tip based on my reporting an incorrect location, that of a museum where I volunteer. Things seemed to move along better when I showed a screenshot from "another" online map service that had the location correct.
The other bit of experience was that when using "Report and Issue" from the Maps app, an email response is not immediate. For my above excursion into those murky waters, it was two weeks before I got a response but, once in contact, the Maps team had our problem satisfactorily sorted in about 36 hours.
