Need computer recommendation for heavy web browsing

Although the story out there is that web browsing and streaming is easily handled by a low power computer, my experience is otherwise! Many users have a workflow that requires 2 browsers open (in my case Safari and Chrome), each with numerous tabs open, and streaming in the background all in addition to various applications including Zoom or Teams open. Are there any hardware experts that can help me understand what types of specifications can handle this with more to spare so I can also shift to edit images or video -needed for presentations I’m working on? I’m looking to purchase a MacBook Pro and the choices leave me a bit bewildered, especially with the lower bandwidth on the new chips. Are they trying to throttle so won’t overheat? Btw, I don’t mind how loud fans get, usually add my own, and don’t care about long battery life. Can anyone help me understand what specs my needs require? Thanks!
