Issue with writing in Arabic on WhatsApp after iOS 17 update

After the iOS 17.1.1 and even iOS 17.2 software update, Arabic Typing orientation is not displayed right anymore. It starts from left as in English, which is very confusing and annoying. This is not just happening with me, it’s also happening with many of my family members and friends. Did anyone faced this? And is there a fix to this issue?

I have the same issue. My iPhone is IOS 17.3.1. Not sure if 17.4 will fix this. Appreciate guidance here to solve this.
