Voice Memos app Editing Problem

Here are my steps:

I tap the 3 dots at upper right
Select the Edit Recording option
Tap "Crop" icon at upper right (square box with 2 diagonal dots)
Drag the yellow/black outward-facing arrows to the point where I want, then Hit "Trim"

However, hitting Trim or Delete does nothing. It's not greyed-out...it just doesn't do anything.

Is this repeatable? Have you tried tapping “Cancel” in the upper left and retrying?

Perhaps there’s some edit history interfering with the trim operation.

What was the origin of the voice memo? Did you simply press the red button and record it on this iPhone?

Do you have any Screen Time restrictions in place?

Yup. I've cancelled out and repeated the steps 3 times. Same result.

EDIT: Ahh! I force-quit the app and it worked this time!
