PS5 keeps disconnecting from my iPad

I paired my PS5 controller to my iPad (iPadOS 17.1.2 (21B101)) and have been using it to play Hello Kitty Island Adventure for over a week now. My PS5 controller has gradually started disconnect from my iPad. When it first started to disconnect, I would push the PS button to turn it back on it get maybe 20 mins of play before it disconnected again. Now when I push the PS button, it turns on and then immediately turns off within 5 seconds. I can’t play my game anymore because of it. What can I do to fix this?

Substitution is often the easiest method by which to identify and resolve an issue with third-party accessories.


Try using a different controller with your iPad - and/or try pairing and testing your current PS5 controller with a different iPad.
