Garageband crashes when trying to download lessons, load lessons

I am running a 2017 macbook pro running Ventura 13.6.1, and have the latest version of

garageband 10.4.10 running (issue started before installing latest update). My problem is when trying to download a lesson Garageband crashes and gives me an option to reopen the app. Odd thing is after the program crashes I get a notification that the download in question completed, but when I try to go back in and launch a lesson it shows it needs downloaded again. Any help would be appreciated, I have deleted and reinstalled the app but it does not help. Thanks

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

I have had the exact same issue. Tried several suggested remedies and now worked. I think that version 10.4.10 has problems. What I finally did was to go back to a December 2022 version via Time Machine (version 10.4.7). That worked. I tried some other versions and still same issue so the December seemed to be the one I is now working for me. If you do not have a previous version on Time Machine, I'm not sure how to get one.
