Since WatchOS 10, Simple face temperature complication shows a blank block on low brightness

Since the upgrade to WatchOS 10, the temperature complication on the Simple watch face turns into a white block when in low brightness mode. When the watch is raised and goes to full brightness, the temperature then shows as expected. Do not see this behavior on other watch faces -- temperature just disappears in low-brightness mode.
