TG Pro app causing notifications such as "MacOS Virus Detected"

This is a warning for people not to install TG Pro. The app is supposed to monitor temperatures and fans. At installation time, it asks for permission to control the laptop's fan which luckily I refused. Immediately after installing this app, I got several notifications about my computer being infected with a virus. The notifications had the System Settings icon. If I pressed the Details button on the notifications, I was taken to a web page that looked like McAfee Total Protection but the URL actually said hyphamenta.com and displayed more warnings about viruses.

This is a brand new MacBookPro. I've had it about two weeks with no problems. But the moment I installed TG Pro, I started getting these virus warnings. I immediately deleted this app but I'm still getting virus warnings. I'm not sure what the next steps are to stop these warnings.
