Strange entries in the app privacy report

Is it normal that i find photos on my app privacy report without me using photos app?!

i can also see mail accessing my contacts without me using the mail app..

i should mention that the app background refresh is off,

does this happen with every one or there is something wrong going on?

App Privacy Report Is there a reason why my apps I don’t significantly use a lot show up on my app privacy report seemingly a ton of times a day. Multiple times an hour? I know some apps like contacts is access by an app that has your information for the purpose of your “contact card” but I literally removed this feature to find the root of the issue and my contacts is access countless times throughout every hour on apps like my mail, photos, health (which is literally deleted from my phone), notes, reminders, calendar, messages…. again “show photo and contact card” is off and my privacy settings have not given contacts permission on anything. Furthermore the apps that constantly use these data sensors aren’t even an option to configure on or off on my privacy settings. Only show up in privacy report. Any insight on this would be appreciated:) I couldn’t find “App Privacy Report” in “topics” so I just generalized it as “using iPhone”…. Hope I can still find the information I need. Contacts constantly accessed by Apps I would like to know why Safari, Photos, Health, Calendar, Contacts?, Find My, and other apps at different times are CONSTANTLY accessing my Contacts. I do not want to be told the same old line — “Go to Privacy or the App settings and check the permissions I have given”. None of these Apps show in the Privacy list, and most, if not all, have no choice in the individual App settings. I have also seen my Photos, Media Library, etc., accessed at different times by apps that have no permission to do so. WHAT GIVES!?!?!?

shortcutActions App Privacy Report Accessing Contacts Just updated my phone to IOS 18.4, noticed in the app privacy report section an app so called shortcutActions accessing my contacts, I don't use shortcuts and don't even have the app installed and was hoping if someone could tell me what this is and if it is just a background process or something. It is also worth mentioning the image it showed next to shorcutActions was the null/ default image.

You maybe got me wrong, i mean the photo app is listed in the app privacy report but i didn’t use photos app at that time when it is shown,

like mail and photos are accessing my contacts and other things while im not using mail or photos at that particular time , is this normal?

It is very difficult to find people who use an iPhone and do not use Photos and the iOS mail app in it.
