My husband has an iPhone 14. He did the recent update (17.1.1) and suddenly, his alarm volume is blaring loud, even with volume turned down/off. It is loud at first and then goes quieter once he “attends” to the alarm.
We’ve tried all of the fixes, such as fiddling with the sounds & haptics “change buttons” key, deleting sleep/alarm schedules, changing the “attention” features in Face ID.
Its still loud!

I am having the exact same problem. I have an Apple iPhone 14 and it is blaringly loud which I do not like. Someone in the community Please let us know how to adjust this volume thank you. no in the meantime, I’m going to stop using your alarm. It’s too startling early in the morning.

About Loud Notifications:
Either use no sound for notifications or mute your iPhone. Also, provide Apple feedback on this.
