Green light dot not where the camera indicator dot should be

Hi,

Since the last few days, I observe on my MacBook (2021; sonoma) screen a green light dot, but not where the camera indicator dot should be. The green dot I am referring to is located a little bit right to the "Help" function. Yet, not within the "black indicator/camera" zone. Does anyone have an idea what this could mean?
